I loved doing this page! My first contribution to my favorite strip on GlobalComicJam. I had two ideas ready to go early on. Since Thomas split up the characters on his page, I was happy and put both ideas into a two-player mode concept (with maps!), since Nero more and more acted like a fellow player. Bringing back the sister was a priority and I figured it'd make sense if the pill was used to protect her, but she passed out and was found anyway. Of course, she'd have been captured while asleep, and my villain contribution could appear, tied in with the spiders from earlier pages. Unnamed for now, Cicero's now-evil weaponsmaster reveals that if party members aren't revived in time, they could be revived by the underdark forces and used for evil. Nero (my favorite), in the meantime, runs further down the bizarre maze and into the characters from GAUNTLET. It was too hard to resist adding them... since they not only work because of their medieval looks, but are usually in a maze.

Man Fusion was on fire during these pages. I love Scott's use of the 2 player system here and his writing is so in tune with the characters. Especially Nero's last line. These last few pages are a great example of Fusion when it's in the zone!
